Part 1, Chapter 2 Summary

The next morning Roger diligently goes to work on Claire's list of the Fraser men. He drives to Brock Tuarach and finds the Fraser home abandoned. He parks his car, gets out, and looks around for anything that will help his search for Claire. With nothing found, his curiosity is piqued by the dates Claire has on her list of men. It doesn't seem to match to Roger.

He goes to the ale house and has a few pints before he continues his search. The next morning, Claire and Brianna visit Roger's house for tea and he fills Claire in on his findings. Fiona brings a cart full of tea and pastries for their enjoyment. Roger is delighted that Fiona presented such a spread, but she did it for Roger, not the ladies. Fiona is set on making Roger her husband...
