Part III, Ajima Island: Chapters 43 - 45 Summary
Five remaining members of MAIT meet on the island of Palau to plan their attack on Ajima Island. Mel Penner created a three-dimensional model of the island, including an inside view showing rooms and tunnels deep underground, created from the plans stolen by Jim Hanamura before he died. This gives Pitt, Giordino, Mancuso, Fox, and Weatherhill some idea of how difficult their task will be. The island is remote, sixty kilometers from Edo City, connected by an underground tunnel that has been a secret until now.
