Dennings' Demons Summary
Dragon, by Clive Cussler, is a techno-thriller, where the protagonist, Dirk Pitt, is once again fighting to stop a major danger to the world. Japanese ultra-nationalist Hideki Suma has determined that the United States must be brought to her knees. He devises a plan where nuclear warheads are shipped in the air-conditioning units of imported Japanese vehicles to be distributed throughout the United States, USSR, Europe, and various locations around the Pacific. Once all the warheads are in place, Suma stands poised to remotely detonate any and all of the nuclear devices that will result in an electromagnetic blanket that will cover over one half of the earth, rendering all communications and computers inoperative. Unless Dirk Pitt can stop him, the twentieth-century way of life will come to a grinding halt, and Suma and his empire will step in to rule...
