Summary

In Chapter 4, Min takes the hover-scooter though she does not have a license. She makes herself appear older, then uses Charm change her appearance in small ways. At the end of the process, she even has an identification card, though it has Bora's name. Min has very little information other than the name of Jun's ship, and decides to take one step at a time. She thinks about her life. Everyone on Jinju has to wear a mask because the landscape is barely habitable. They live in domes and Min has become adept at keeping things operational for her family. She has seen images of “lush and verdant” worlds, and wonders what it would be like to live in one. She decides to go straight through the city for fear of getting lost if she tries to go around.
