Summary

Chapter 7 begins with Pam, Joe, and Bethany attending a party at Daktari’s apartment amongst celebrities, TV and industry personnel, and many female fans. He quickly breaks up with Bethany to hook up with a girl named Gwendolyn Charanoglu, and they commence a bender of substance abuse and sex, driven by Gwen’s drug addiction. Gwen uses Joe’s new famous status to leverage herself in society. Joe sets out to begin his first big tour across America with a newly hired touring band, Sebastian, Kevin, and John, and Gwen accompanies him. On tour, Joe experiments with recreational drugs and sex with groupies.

Flora, now in Kindergarten, begins questioning why she doesn’t have any grandparents, pushing Pam to finally inform her parents about her daughter. She sends them a letter informing them about Flora and her marriage to Daniel, and they swiftly react...
