Chapters 10-11 Summary
Decker goes to spend the night at Lanie's motel room rather than sleep at Skink's. When Decker arrives, he tries to learn more about Gault's role in Bobby Clinch's death, but Lanie begins crying, trying to convince Decker of the depth of her grief for Clinch. The next morning, Reverend Weeb takes a helicopter tour of his new community development, Lunker Lakes. Weeb is promoting the condos as a new Christian city designed just for Christians. There is a network of canals at the site that Weeb is promoting as lakes, which he intends to stock with bass. To promote the show, Weeb orders Dickie to shoot an episode of his television show there, despite the fact that the lakes have not yet been stocked.
