Summary

One of the Spineticklers novels Greg buys is about a man who is frozen and wakes up in the future to find everything has changed. Greg wishes he could afford to be frozen and awakened in the future. Saturday, Greg and his family decorate for Halloween, which is a few weeks away. Greg recalls how the previous year, Mom sent his older brother Rodrick to the store to buy more decorations, but he came back with a witch that screamed or cackled when a loud noise was made.
