How am I supposed to fit in at a snobby prep school like Westchester Country Days?! This place has a Starbucks in the cafeteria!

Importance: Nikki begins a new year and a new career at a new school. She has no friends there, and doesn’t even know anyone before beginning. But one of the things that seems to worry Nikki the most is that everyone at the school comes from a wealthy family, while her own family is middle-class. Nikki’s clothes, sense of style, and possessions (or lack thereof in the case of her iPhone) make her stick out – and all she wants to do is to fit in.
To call MacKenzie a ‘mean girl’ would be an understatement. She’s VICIOUS!
