Summary
In the Prologue, Daisy spotted her mark at the bar and began to make her move on him. The man, named Dave Miller, did not react like men generally did to her. Daisy asked if she could sit next to him because he made her feel safe. After four drinks, he began talking about his divorce and custody battle. When she felt sure he was drunk, Daisy asked if he could give her a ride home. Rex had already texted and asked if everything was okay. Daisy texted back and stated they were coming out.
Rex had told her what they were doing was not a crime. By charging an ex-husband with a DUI, they were helping a wife win her custody battle. It was Daisy’s responsibility to make sure their mark was drunk and get him to drive.
