Chapter 1 The Whirlwind

"Donnie Brasco" is the story of FBI Agent Joseph Pistone and the six years of his life he dedicates to the infiltration of the Mafia. The operation starts out as a six month fencing sting, and quickly turns into a six year ordeal that ultimately brings down the heads of the Mafia families of that time. Agent Pistone not only gives the FBI never before known information about the Mafia, but also changes the way the Mafia operates forever.

FBI Agent Joe Pistone begins by recalling the six years he spends undercover in the Mafia. During these years Agent Pistone is living as Donnie Brasco, a jewel thief.
