Hicks and Marge head for the bank in Marge's mustang. Marge laments leaving Janey at June Owens' house but Hicks says it was the right thing to do. June can deliver Janey when he returns from Saigon.
Hicks drives up to a house in the desert. There are people in the house. Hicks seems to know at least one of the men. The others are not friendly. No one in the house is interested in buying the heroin. Hicks and Marge leave. In the night, they have sex.
