Petey

Petey is a cat who began his role in this series as a villain. He has since become one of the good guys. Petey is Li'l Petey's father. He takes that role very seriously. Li'l Petey is the driving factor in Petey's efforts to do good. Though Petey and Dog Man were arch rivals in the past, Petey is now devoted to Dog Man. In this story, Petey puts himself in a terrible situation to save Dog Man from unjustly going to prison. In return, Petey is forced to work for the evil Dr. Scum until he realizes that he has the power to refuse. Petey fills the role of the reformed criminal well. Most readers will like him, especially when he makes the right decisions.
