Summary

Chapter 14 is titled “Petey Dreams Again.” Petey is exhausted. He chants that he has “Got to make the robots” several times as he works. He then falls asleep and is caught up in the gears of the robot machine. When he falls from the machine, he hits his head and continues to sleep. The next panel has wavy lines, indicating this is Petey's dream. Young Petey and his mother arrived at the Happy Home Shelter together. A woman filled out paperwork, and young Petey's mother signed. They went up stairs together. Young Petey's tail was still bandaged. Young Petey was upset that their new home was so small. There was no TV, only one room, and his father was not there.
