Summary

Chapter 7 is titled “A Bot with a Plot.” The Dog Man robot watches through the bars as the cops drive away. The Dr. Scum robot immediately recognizes him as an A.I. Buddy. The Dr. Scum robot notes that the Dog Man robot is “a newer model . . . with a replaceable head” (95). Dr. Scum relates the story of his arrival at the jail. He was an outsider. A huge man identified as the “jail boss” beat up the Dr. Scum robot. Though the jail boss was bigger, the Dr. Scum robot “had artificial intelligence” so that his “brain got smarter every day” (100). He came up with a plan to take over. Using a laser beam from his eye, he began making shadow animals that look like bunnies. All the men in the jail were amazed by the bunnies.
