Point of View
The novel is written in third-person from an omniscient perspective. This means the reader knows what is happening in different areas at the same time. The word “Meanwhile” appears repeatedly in this novel, indicating that the events of the following scene are taking place simultaneously with another scene. Dog Man appears in only a few scenes of this installment of the series. No single character appears in every section of the novel, which makes the omniscient perspective necessary.
