Summary

Chapter 3 is titled “Escape from Cat Jail.” The title page shows Grampa stomping across a floor. The opening panel has the word “Meanwhile.” Grampa is scribbling in a book. He says he now has the perfect plan, but he needs “two secret ingredients” (34). He leaves the jail through a hole in the wall covered by a motivational poster. He climbs down a ladder. Big Jim, a cat villain, is there. He is wearing his Commander Cupcake disguise. He says he has altered the button that opens the escape. Grampa refuses to listen and shouts that he can “make my own decisions.” Another Flip-E-Rama shows Grampa pushing the button. A boxing glove springs out and hits him in the face.
