The City

The city where these events take place is never named, but it is fairly large and there are numerous specific places described. Dog Man lives in this city and Petey has a secret lab here. The Cat Jail is in this city as is the police station. There are some scenes that include skyline views of the city in the background, but the reader never sees any general city scenes other than as a background.

Cat Jail

This is where Petey has spent a lot of time up to now. The first scene showing Petey in For Whom the Ball Rolls is set in the Cat Jail. Big Jim is still in jail until Bub and Crunky hypnotize him and he breaks out.
