Summary

In Chapter 35, Amal, Yasmeen, and Leila have a wonderful evening together. Amal notes that Leila seems completely carefree. Hakan arrives with his girlfriend. Hakan is furious. He demands that Leila leave with him despite the fact that Amal and Yasmeen insist they took Leila out without her knowing their plans. The manager of the restaurant asks them to leave and Amal notes that people are staring at them, as if they expected nothing less than this kind of scene. Amal pleads with Hakan for the chance to take Leila home, but he refuses. Amal loses her temper and shouts at Hakan, detailing his sexist attitude and hypocritical behavior.
