The Overlook aka Roof O’ the World

An observation deck, called the Roof O’ the World, has been built on the lot where the Overlook Hotel once stood. Dan travels with Billy to the spot where the Overlook was located to confront Rose on this observation deck. The ghost of Dan’s father redeems himself when he interrupts Rose as she is trying to make Dan kill himself. Rose dies when she is pushed from this deck by the mental strength of Abra and Dan. Dan looks back to the platform after Rose is dead and sees his father blowing him a kiss.
