Summary
Kiku has tears in her eyes as she walks from her backyard into her home where her mom is still watching political coverage about a registry Donald Trump wants to instate for Muslims, The newscaster believes there is precedent for it and references numerous times such registries were instated. The female newscaster, Megyn, is shocked because she believes he is implying the creation of internment camps. Kiku’s mother says she has always worried that internment camps could be instituted again, notably in the 1970s and the Bush years.
