Twinkle Drive
The Twinkle drive is a symbol of a hidden agenda. Sanders believes that the Malaysia plant and the Twinkle drive it was intended to manufacture has been his project. He does not realize that Meredith has been allowed to make changes at the plant in an attempt to convince the executives from Conley-White to merge with DigiCom. In an attempt to prove that she could cut costs and manufacture these drives more cheaply than Sanders’ estimates, Meredith not only got materials from a different supplier, but she also changed the specifications of the air handler. Both of these decisions were detrimental to building a successful drive. When Sanders got to the bottom of the problems with the Twinkle drives, he discovered that the changes Meredith had made were the cause of the malfunctions in the drives.
