Chapters 19-24 Summary
In Chapter 19, Arnie Millman investigates Helen Charlson and Barry White (Amanda Dart's employees). Charlson is seeing a man who is in the advertising business. Barry White, while somewhat promiscuous and fond of a bar called The Leather Room, does not discuss his work or Amanda Dart with any of his myriad one-night stands. MIllman's information proves that neither of them are leaking information to DIRT. Dick Hickock contacts Stone Barrington again and tells Stone the truth about his nineteen year-old mistress. Stone pays the young girl a visit. Much to his surprise, Tiffany Potts (who prefers to be called "Tiff") is very mature for her age. Tiff is studying to be an actress. She is a bright, pleasant individual who comes from a small, unidentified town and no one knows about her affair with Hickock. Stone tells Tiff to call him...
