Chapter 88 - 90 Summary
David has no idea who is chasing him or why the man would want to kill him. He wonders what is so important about the ring. Just as his motorcycle runs out of gas, he sees that Hulohot has abandoned the taxi and is hiding in an alleyway. David drops the bike as Hulohot fires a shot, grazing David's side.
David wonders the maze of streets trying to escape his killer. He cries for help but his voice is weak and inaudible. He finds himself at a dead end. Hulohot moves toward David. With nowhere to run, David closes his eyes and braces himself for the shot that will end his life. The bells in the Giralda begin to toll, signaling the sunrise mass.
