Chapter 76 - 78 Summary

The man in the wire rim glasses watches David and Megan from outside the airport terminal while his taxi sits idle. He sees Megan help David to a chair, then hands him the ring from her pocket. David studies the ring, then pays the girl. They talk for a few minutes. After awhile, Megan picks up her duffel bag and heads across the concourse. The assassin is satisfied. He believes his job is nearly completed.

Susan begins to have second thoughts about going into Node 3. She is afraid that Hale may still be in there. She knows Hale's only options are to escape Crypto or go to prison.
