Chapter 37 - 39 Summary
David wanders into the restaurant of the Alfonso XIII and asks the bartender if he knows of any punk rock clubs in the area. The bartender says he does not know of any such clubs in town and asks David if he would like to have a drink.
David hears Brandenburg's Concerto Number 4 being piped into the room, and it reminds him of a concert he had been to with Susan. He orders a cranberry juice. The bartender convinces him to drink it with vodka. David agrees when he thinks about how he will be searching the streets looking for a young girl with wild hair and a British flag t-shirt.
Hale realizes something is wrong with Susan. She insists she is fine. As Hale moves towards her, there is a loud pounding on the door. Hale goes to the door...
