Chapter 34 - 36 Summary
Susan's tracer has been running several hours. Hale is outside taking a break when she checks the digital clock on her computer and discovers the tracer had been aborted. She immediately assumes the tracer has a computer bug.
Susan knows that computer bugs can have crippling effects. A simple syntactical error can bring down an entire system. Susan remembers that Strathmore had run the tracer and the data was returned, meaning there was no bug. She concludes that there must be an internal programming flaw. She types in a few commands and discovers that there has been a manual abort.
