Apt Pupil, Chapters 21 to 29 Summary
Todd Bowden has breakfast with his dad, Dick Bowden. They talk about Todd's girlfriend, Betty Trask. Dick thinks Betty is a really nice girl, but Todd thinks that she is a slut. Todd has not wanted to have sex with any girl and always broke up with girls before they let him do it. Betty, however, wanted to have sex on the first day. Todd finds himself not being able to perform. Dick sees in the paper that Todd is named to the baseball all-stars. Ed French is away for a conference and finds Victor Bowden, Todd's grandfather. He visits him and learns he is not the man who came to see him about Todd's grades. A detective named Weiskopf comes to the hospital and tells Kurt Dussander they know his true identity.
