Summary
November
Greg begins to relax as the week moves forward. Apparently his parents aren’t even remotely aware of the party that went on in their absence. At one point Greg’s father looks at the bathroom door thinking that it used to lock, but since no one comments on it, he chalks it up to his forgetfulness. Greg and Rodrick had ended up swapping the bathroom door for one in the basement because one of Rodrick’s friends ended up writing on the door in a Sharpie.
Greg receives a letter from his pen pal, Mamadu. Greg likes getting the letters and thinks that he will give this whole thing his best shot. He writes to Mamadu that he thinks it is stupid that they can’t use email. He also tells Mamadu that his English spelling is incorrect, when in fact it...
