Point of View

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Big Shot is written in first person from the sole perspective of Greg Heffley in the form of diary entries. Greg seems to try to be an honest and reliable narrator, but he is limited by his youth, lack of experience, and his inability to understand situations. He relates events as he sees them but does not always fully understand. The limited perspective means the reader knows only what Greg knows.
