Summary

In Chapter 20, Meddelin discovers that Maureen and Ah Guan had a plan to steal all the wedding gifts. Maureen messages Ah Guan and tells him everything is ready in the bridal suite and he had better do his part. Meddelin goes back to the bridal suite and finds a duffel bag packed with all the gifts. She steals it so Maureen will not realize Ah Guan was missing. Then, she goes back to her room and panics because she now has a dead body and a host of stolen goods to deal with. Nathan knocks on her door and she is shocked to see him.
