Chapter IV, pgs. 281-321 Summary
Tak finds Kidd staggering in the street and takes him to the bar. They meet Fenster in the bar and they discuss the situation in Bellona. Fenster says he is no longer living with Calkins but is no living on Jackson. He tells them there are real problems on Jackson. Fenster tells them that George Harrison is the only one he's met who has read the articles about the riots. Kidd adds that the Richards read them but didn't recognize June.
Kidd is introduced to Jack, who also writes poems. Frank also writes poetry and they talk about writing and publications. Kidd has lost his notebook and they thought the one they found in the park was his, but it wasn't. As they leave, Newboy enters. Newboy has told Calkins about Kidd's poetry and Calkins wants to...
