Chapters 12 and 13 Summary
In Chapter 12, Hannah is pleased that the Israeli believers are low maintenance. Back at Petra, Rayford and his people are in a position where Rayford is the only one with a clear shot of the two GC troops. He watches the men. When it is clear, he allows Leah confirms the dead man is David. Rayford aims his weapon at the two men. He forgets to plug his ears and is deafened by the noise from the gun. When he and the others check the bodies, Rayford is sickened and overcome with remorse for shooting the two men. Mac reminds him that the two men had killed David and were drawing their weapons on a helicopter full of refugees.
