Chapters 8 and 9 Summary

In Chapter 8, Chaim testifies to those who have not yet taken the mark of loyalty, promising them that there is still time for them to be redeemed. Meanwhile David and his group go over their plans to each shoot two rounds from the big guns with the DEW being used afterwards to irritate the sores of any GC that have not already fled the area. Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Chang worries that loyalists will catch on to his masquerade if he does not get the sores so he calls in sick, pretending to be afflicted with the plague. At Temple Mount, Buck is surprised when dozens of people come forward to pray with Chaim. Chaim tells the new believers of the plans to keep them safe at Petra.
