Chapters 4 and 5 Summary

In Chapter 4, as Tsion and Chloe watch the action in Jerusalem, Tsion receives Hattie's e-mail message. David ignores the message as he is reading Chang's pieced together account of the day when the mark of the beast was forced upon him. Chang has learned pleaded not to have to take the mark and professed a loyalty to Christ. Meanwhile, Rayford calls Tsion to confirm that it was Hattie who was killed by Fortunado. He talks to Chloe who admits she is jealous because Hattie was able to take an active role in the opposition.

Back in Jerusalem, Buck goes inside the Garden Tomb. Chaim walks in after him, crying. The guard, who turns out to be the angel Anis, speaks to the two. Chaim considers this a sign from God. He goes to a souvenir shop and buys a cheap replica...
