Chapters 13-20 Summary

Chapter 13. Jessica has been writing all afternoon and she decides to take a break by walking in the woods. Jessica climbs into a tree and falls asleep, having another dream about Jazlyn. Jessica wakes when Alex/Aubrey joins her in the tree. They talk for a time and Jessica sees a tattoo on Alex/Aubrey's wrist that her book's character has as well. Jessica begins to worry that Alex/Aubrey is a crazed fan of her book and he is stalking her.

Chapter 14. Fala confronts Aubrey and claims to have been following Jessica. Aubrey worries that Fala might have harmed Jessica, but is assured when Fala fails to brag, something she would have done had she killed Jessica.

Chapter 15. Caryn comes to Jessica's house to speak to her. Caryn tries to tell Jessica that her books are true, but Jessica will...
