Chapter 22 Summary

Karen comes by for another visit and asks Antonia if she has tried calling her mother since her visit with her. She says she has not and does not want to visit her again either. Karen encourages her not to give up hope.

Antonia decides that the only thing she looks forward to anymore are the peer counseling sessions. This time when she arrives, she notices Jazz with the headphones on again, playing an air piano. Antonia asks if she is still not playing and Jazz says no. Jazz jumps into questions about how Antonia is doing with the foster home situation and how it is all working out.
