Juanita (Nita) Callahan (aka Neets; hNii't, the Silent Lord)

Nita is thirteen years old - a year older than her best friend Kit. She had only found the book "So You Want To Be A Wizard", which had started her adventures two months previously, and since then has begun to learn the rudimentary wizard's language that allows her to talk to animals. Nita and her family decide to vacation in Long Island, taking her best friend, Kit, along with them. What begins as a vacation quickly evolves into an assignment where Nita and Kit are once again called upon to save millions of lives.

Nita is an honest young lady who hates telling even half truths to her parents. As a result, her activities as a Wizard are becoming increasingly difficult to keep secret. Long hours out past curfew with Kit make her mother wonder if she is experimenting...
