Heartsong Summary
Neither Kit, nor Nita rose until long after nightfall. Kit eats a bowl of cereal, and tells her that he is going for a swim shortly, asking her if she wants to join him. He has to return the whalesark. Nita comments on the intensity of their most recent assignment, and the fact that each one appeared to be just a little more difficult each time. Kit agrees, asking her if she wants to give the wizardry up, but after thinking about it briefly, she admits that she doesn't. It is late when they head out and the Moon is one day past full, shining brightly. They walk into the surf, listening to the sound of the whales singing.
