Part Three, The Leonid Andreyev, Chapters 53-58 Summary
Pitt and Giordino board the Leonid Andreyev pretending to be a married couple. Pitt is hoping to find Loren and learn why she was asking about Moran. Pitt suspects that Loren's phone calls to Washington might have something to do with the Bougainvilles and the loss of the Eagle. As soon as they are alone, Giordino takes off his disguise and the two of them quickly begin searching the ship for Loren. Giordino quickly establishes that Loren is not in her cabin and all her things have been removed. At the same time, Pitt makes his way into the bowels of the ship, but finds nothing. Pitt and Giordino meet up and decide to wander the decks. In Washington, the President goes on television to announce his new Russian policies. When...
