Summary
Virgil is back at the cabin when Johnson calls and tells him that he is going to get a phone call that he should answer. The call comes. It is from Jessie McGovern. She wants to know why he is interested in her activities and he tells her because what she is doing is illegal. He also tells her that unless she beats someone up, they are not trying to arrest her. She says that she did not know that the women were going to assault him. She says that they are just a bit wild. She also says that Johnson has said that Virgil would be open to arrangements. She knows that he does not take bribes, but says that her people will help him with Gina’s case if he leaves them alone. He tells her that if she knows something...
