Chapter 15, Pohnpei Summary

A private Lear jet takes Karen, Jack, Mwahu and Miyuki to the South Pacific. A search helicopter is dispatched to the Fathom, and Jack waits for word. The Fathom is gone, and Karen matches Jack's anger, telling him that killing Spangler will not help. The only way to avenge his friends is to expose Spangler, and she assures him she will help. Spangler is loading a helicopter and preparing for a trip to Pohnpei as well but first oversees Neptune base as the water is evacuated. Jack and company get into a jeep and head for the ruins. Mwahu has been there several times with his father and Karen tells Jack about the place.
