Miyuki crawls in with Karen to avoid the gunplay. A voice shouts out and even in another language it is obvious to Karen he is insisting they show themselves. They hide to one side but Kerosene is poured into the tunnel. They look for another way out and manage to open a tunnel entrance by pushing the face of the snake to its tail. Outside, the men impatiently throw in a lit bottle of kerosene. Karen and Miyuki climb into the tunnel and the platform goes up and closes the access behind them. The stones fit together so well that Karen can hardly feel the seams. Wading through water up to their knees, Karen sees a palm sized crystal star on display.
