Chapters 126-130 Summary

Sexton has made ten copies of the evidence Rachel sent him and is preparing media kits so he can go to the press with the news. Gabrielle begs Sexton to wait until he knows Rachel is safe, but he ignores her. Gabrielle tries to call the White House herself, but Sexton slaps her and she leaves in tears.

As Michael dives for the water to rescue Rachel from the Triton, Pickering fires at him with the machine gun, but misses. Michael tries to undo the hatch of the Triton but sees that it has sealed unevenly, making it impossible to open. The Triton is sinking quickly and Michael realizes it is because it was damaged in the earlier gunfire. Trying to save Rachel, he wants to increase the pressure inside the cabin so that the glass will pop out. Michael undoes...
