Chapters 56-60 Summary

As the sheet drops into the sea, Michael, Corky and Rachel are engulfed by the frigid ocean water. As the new iceberg tries to gain its balance, the three, tethered together, keep each other from going over the edges. Michael figures they only have another 30-40 minutes before they die of hypothermia. Rachel is angry that whoever has set up the fraud may get away with it. She assumes that it is Ekstrom and wonders if President Herney is also in on it.
