Jane McKeene
Jane McKeene is a teenage girl living in America in the late 1800s. She spent several years at Miss Preston's School of Combat and is a skilled fighter. She is prone to making snap decisions but she tries to do the right thing, even when she is not certain what that is. Jane is fiercely loyal, seen in the fact that she remains with Jackson during the final moments of his humanity, and she takes the terrible step of cutting off his head. Jane then begins seeing Jackson's ghost, demonstrating that she feels guilty over his death though she was not directly responsible.
