Summary
As Miss Bowers is leaving the doctor's cabin, Jackie asks how Simon is doing. Miss Bowers tell her that Simon has a fever and that his condition is worsening. Jackie cries and Poirot assures her that Simon will be fine, once they get him back to land in the morning and can X-ray his leg and remove the bullet. Poirot and Race decide they have to find out more information about the telegram that Linnet mistook for hers, but was meant for Richetti. Poroit tells Race that he knows who the murderer is and gives Race some clues to think of, but Race cannot guess who it is. The investigators return to the doctor's cabin to talk with Simon about the telegram. Before Simon can tell the investigators what the telegram said, Mrs. Otterbourne stumbles drunkenly in the cabin screaming that she knows who the murderer...
