Summary
It's Monday and the ship is moored once again. Simon Doyle tells Hercule Poirot that he and Linnet have decided to face Jackie rather than try to dodge her. As some of the ship passengers go ashore, Hercule strikes up a conversation with Andrew Pennington who admits he was friends with Linnet's father and has known her since she was a little girl. After touring the inside of one of the temples, Linnet and Simon decide to leave and sit in the sun under one of the cliffs. Someone yells and Simon moves Linnet just in time because a boulder falls where Linnet was sitting. Simon instantly thinks the boulder was pushed rather than falling on its own, but when they are getting back on the ship, they see Jackie is just leaving the ship.
