Chapters 29-32 Summary
In chapter 29, Tempe and Ryan fly back to Montreal together. On the flight, Tempe reads more of the journal written by Elisabeth Nicolet's uncle, discovering Elisabeth's mother stayed in Europe longer than originally planned for unknown reasons. When they land, Tempe goes straight to her office where she makes a computer-generated image of the person the skull from Murtry Island belongs to in order to help identify the young woman. From there, Tempe rushes to McGill University to speak with Jeannotte but finds Anna Goyette instead. In chapter 30, Tempe is amazed to find Anna Goyette alive and well. Anna takes Tempe to the university museum so they can speak freely.
