Summary

Chapter 17 is titled “A Girl on a Mission.” Sweet Pea rushes to Miss Flora Mae's house and finds that the newspaper editor has already picked up the envelop of Miss Flora Mae's answers. She goes inside, puts on a DVD of rock and roll hits, dons Miss Flora Mae's old glasses, and sits down at the typewriter to write another answer to Kiera's letter. She manages to sneak into the newspaper office and replace the letter.

Chapter 18 is titled “Paper, Paper, Get your Paper!” Sweet Pea remembers the day Liz and Andre told her they were getting a divorce. Andre said he was gay, and that he had tried to ignore it for a long time. Sweet Pea is relieved when the newspaper arrives and her corrected letter is on the page.
