Summary

In "Hannah," Hannah assures Fräulein Tinky "it won't be long now" (284).

In "Jasmin," Inspector Giesner visits Jasmin. When he shows her the dead man's photograph, Jasmin has a panic attack. The dead man is not her abductor, but the driver who tried saving her. She realizes her abductor woke up after she hit him, followed her through the woods, killed the driver, and carried his dead body back to the cabin. Confused, she lies, telling Giesner the man in the photo is her abductor.

In "Matthias," Gerd calls and tells Matthias the man in the cabin is not the children's father. Police think Mark might be.

In "Jasmin," Jasmin realizes her abductor is alive and free, and must have a plan.
